From my admittedly biased point of view, I think the time has come to champion a new technology. The next technological breakthrough should be a re-discovery of creative thinking.

Too many businesses compete for the same customers with the same products or services in the same way hoping that if they can just run fast enough they can gain a statistical share of the market.

But in many ways, this catastrophe was the proverbial “blessing in disguise.” I had a clean slate to start with.

One has to draw the assumption that they have concluded that life is a convenient collection of the right chemicals, which somehow react with each other and yield an unidentified something called “life.”

What could have been a trying and burdensome situation is now the source of extreme gratitude and appreciation of how things work out for the best if we allow them to do so.

I reasoned that because I am an integral part of this perfect universe, there is no reason why I shouldn’t be experiencing the same predictable harmony, balance and perfection and be free of all conflicts, problems and their resultant pressures, anxieties and fears.

Problems are like waves on the seashore. We are not responsible for the waves that come to us but we can learn how to meet them, remain in control and avoid being swamped by them.

The beauty of this scientific approach is that the principle is equally effective when applied to “big” problems as it is when applied to “small” problems. It seems more difficult to let go of big problems than smaller ones. But the scientific truth is that neither of them have any power, both are fraudulent suppositions. The light’s effectiveness in destroying darkness is independent of how long the room has been dark.

My situation became dependent upon someone else in a system over which I had no control. I had yielded the control of my future to a system that made me an impersonal pawn in a game that didn’t care whether I won or not.

If we are to exercise dominion over our affairs, we must identify ourselves with the reality of our being. We must yield to the “creative and controlling forces of the universe” and allow them to destroy the “illusory world,” which it does as surely and as effortlessly as darkness is destroyed in the presence of light.
