Whatever its nature, when a problem presents itself to you and demands your attention, what do you do? Chances are you find it dominates your though to the exclusion of all else. It trumps every other responsibility and dilutes the attention other activities deserve. It can become the proverbial “monkey on your back” that sticks to you like a burr.

If we wish to experiences our natural condition of success, prosperity and freedom in our personal lives, if we want to be more profitably productive in our professional lives and if we want to be untouched by national and international turmoil, logic demands that we must depart from traditional problem solving methods and adopt a new method that can assure positive resolutions.

We live in a world of duality where every situation and circumstance is challenged by some implied opposite; a world where “twoness” prevails, where one side is always pulling against another or pushing up against a wall that will not yield.

This controversy is no different than any other problem and, if a resolution is to be realized, they must reject any preconceived conclusions and take an objective look at it from a totally impersonal perspective.

At one time or another, we have all been looking for an idea or answer to a question. We KNOW the answer is there but, for the moment, it is out of our mental reach. Then, suddenly, we feel the excitement of that magic moment when the unknown becomes known and we “remember” it.

Problems are like waves on the seashore. We are not responsible for the waves that come to us but we can learn how to meet them, remain in control and avoid being swamped by them.

The beauty of this scientific approach is that the principle is equally effective when applied to “big” problems as it is when applied to “small” problems. It seems more difficult to let go of big problems than smaller ones. But the scientific truth is that neither of them have any power, both are fraudulent suppositions. The light’s effectiveness in destroying darkness is independent of how long the room has been dark.
